Mexico (Global Partner)
Valley Church is in partnership with an organization called “Rock Baja“, a relational ministry led by Tom and Lilly Card. Rock Baja seeks to transform at-risk women and men through the love of Jesus, giving hope to the next generations with a sustainable change.
In August 2022 and just before Valley Church was about to start, Tom and Lilly approached Valley Church to see about a partnership and church plant that would be named after the new church but in Spanish, named “Iglesia Del Valle” (Valley Church). With the value and desire of Valley Church to not just be a church plant but to plant several churches, it was clear that the vision of this should extend globally to other valleys like the San Quintin Valley, Baja California in Mexico, where Rock Baja is doing ministry.
With this partnership growing, Valley Church sent a small team of 5 people down to Mexico, March 18-26th, 2023 to support the missionaries in planting the new church. Iglesia Del Valle plans to reach the many youth and young adults in the community of Vicente Guerrero who do not know Jesus, something that very few churches in the area have not been able to address. The trip was in cooperation with SouthRidge Fellowship in Langley.
