WelcomE!
If you are new to the Cowichan Valley, looking to try a new church or interested in attending church for the first time, you are welcome at Valley Church and we are looking forward to meeting you!
We gather at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings and are located at 200 Cowichan Way in Duncan, B.C.
(In the Khowutzun Heritage Centre, across from Superstore)
What to expect
ARRIVAL: When you first arrive, you will find a large parking lot where you will see signage for Valley Church. If the parking lot is full, you can find more parking across the street at Superstore. There will be someone at the Khowutzun Centre entrance to greet you and answer any questions you may have.
OUR SERVICE: Once you enter the main doors, you will follow the signs down a beautiful pathway to the main building. When you get into our main building, you can check your kids into our Valley Kids program by heading to the kids table in our lobby or grab a coffee and head into our main gathering space.
Our services are usually 60 minutes long with praise & worship, a short announcement time, more praise and worship and a message by one of our pastors. Kids join us for the first three songs and then are invited to go the Valley Kids program. When the service is over, we invite everyone to stick around, chat and enjoy a coffee or tea.

FAQ
What should I wear on a Sunday?
We are a casually dressed West Coast style people. You are welcome to wear what is comfortable, but typically we won't see any suits or fancy dresses at our gatherings.
As long as you wear clothes. We're good.
Is this a kid-friendly church?
Yes, completely. We love kids! In fact, we are one of the youngest churches in the city by age and one of the bigger kids' programs. Our Valley Kids program goes from age 0 to grade 6.
On a Sunday, you can come in through the front doors of our meeting space and on the left there is a big roll-up banner that says "Valley Kids". Beside that you will find a check-in station to either check in your kids for the morning Valley Kids program or register them for the first time. Someone will be there to help you check-in or register your child(ren). Kids join us for the first part of our service, and then are invited to go to Valley Kids after the third worship song.
Where do I park?
There is a large parking lot right in front of the Khowutzun Centre (200 Cowichan Way). If that parking lot is full, please park across the street in the Superstore parking lot.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The building we meet in on Sundays is wheelchair accessible.
How did you get to be in this beautiful building?
We are humbly grateful to be meeting as a church on the lands of the Quw'utsun' peoples. We don't believe in coincidences, so we believe that we are placed here for a continual and growing friendship with the Cowichan Tribes. Although we understand this friendship is new, we are happy to serve and listen to the history of our area.
We proudly and annually have many from our church who support the Every Child Matters Walk on September 30th each year. It was from serving at this event that we were asked to rent this building. This cultural site and our church people represent the ongoing effort for reconciliation through our faith in Jesus.
I am hearing impaired, do you offer anything for that?
Yes, we have hearing impaired listening devices with headphones available to use during our Sunday morning services. A staff member or sound board technician will be happy to set you up with this when you arrive.
I noticed you don't pass an offering plate. How do I give?
In this digital age, we encourage people to give electronically and consistently. This helps us to plan and to reach the Cowichan Valley with the love of Jesus. Visit our Give page for more information how to give online.
If you would prefer to give cash or cheque, please use the envelopes provided on Sundays and drop it in the wooden AGAPE box you will find in the foyer on our welcome table.
